So I definitely got pimped this morning. For those of you not hip with medicial slang, PIMPing is Put In My Place(ing), residents regularly get pimped by attendings, med students by residents and attendings, and first years get pimped by everyone. It involves getting asked rapid-fire questions to which you usually don't know the answer. I was shadowing my physician mentor, who is awesome, but his fellow attending pounced and totally owned me on my history-taking skills. Ouch. It's almost like frat hazing, I feel like people do it because it was done to them, rite of passage nonsense and such.
Also, is imbibification a word? I have my doubts.
